Nuumbra is a multidisciplinary lighting design and production studio founded in Mexico City in 2020 by Fiama and Andros Díaz. Their practice brings together architecture, lighting design, and scenography with the aim of creating sensory experiences through light and shadow, guided by the concept of design + fabrication.

Nuumbra explores the language of light through different perspectives and disciplines. Their work embraces the raw character of materials, while valuing craftsmanship and processes that seek to reframe the significance of manual work and knowledge gained through experience.
